Roofcolor Bituminous Shingles

Introduction

Roof color bituminous shingles is a type of roof covering consisting of individual overlapping elements. These elements are typically flat, rectangular shapes laid in courses from the bottom edge of the roof up. Bitumen on the other hand is a natural material harvested from specially selected petroleum. Bitumen’s flexible, weather resistant and water resisting qualities have made it a preferred roofing material.

Roofcolor consists of basalt granules which are colored using a very high temperature ceramization process with inorganic pigments. All our ceramized granules are made from basalt rock, which provides greater mechanical strength.
